Back in glasgow…

So don’t let the title of this diary entry mislead you,
We arrived back in Glasgow half an hour ago, having flown in from Holland, where we played with Bloc Party in Utrecht last night.

Tonight, the band are playing the Glasgow leg of the Give It A Name festival, alongside The Used and Alexisonfire, and a few more.
I just saw the singer from the Used in the hotel lobby, as I was checking in. The picture of cleanliness.
So we do the show tonight, retreat to our hotel (handily just up the road near to Central Station) and then tomorrow, fly back out, to rejoin our tourbus (and Gordon and Justin, who have not came to Glasgow for this show) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Bit of a weird one tonight.
A million fucking bands in the glasgow academy, which was moved down from the larger SECC venue, Bit of a shame really, but if its a step in the direction of alerting people to the fact that certain types of music should not be played to more than 50 people at once. Particularly if said music is loved by grade-A prick and all-round gurning clown, Bam Margera.
(DISCLAIMER: The opinions expressed here, are those of my own, and most-likely millions of others, but are expressly not those of the band in this instance, as its not really prudent for bands to slag other bands)
🙂
Anyway,
we’re off down to the venue, to see what the carnage is like… we should hopefully catch the end of our friends in Fightstar. Amps to 11.
